Avery Sharpe
A bassist-composer, Avery Sharpe has played hundreds of gigs with McCoy Tyner. He has played alongside Dizzy Gillespie and Pat Metheny. His first recording was the 1988 album Unspoken Words on Sunnyside Records. Between 1994- 2001 he recorded the Extended Family Trillogy I, II, and III (released on his label, JKNM Records).
